
HISTORY
Andrea Braido was born in Trento. His musical journey started by playing
drums at only 4 years of age, as a self-taught. Later on he graduated in
Theory and Solfege. When he was about 12 years old,he started playing
guitar and bass,still as a self-taught,while listening extensively to
all the music he could muster,from many different genres. He plays all
kind of guitars,but also electric bass,drums and percussion. After a
short stay to Boston and to New York,where he collaborated with leading
musicians of the international jazz-scene,he returned to Italy,where his
professional career then took off. His fantastic guitar work can be
heard in the many CD's and DVD's by celebrated artists such as Vasco
Rossi,Mina,Laura Pausini,Zucchero,Eros Ramazzotti,Branduardi and Marcus
Miller's CD, 'Marcus',and many others lesser known artists. He has also
toured with many celebrated artists of the rock and pop Italian scene.
He has played sessions with (and on many occassions also recorded with )
renowned international musicians such as Frank Gambale, Marcus Miller,T.M
Stevens and many others! He has played in various orchestras for the
Italian TV channel RAI and with various internationally known artists
such as Liza Minnelli,Lenny Kravitz, Randy Crawford and others. Between
touring and live and studio projects,Andrea Braido has given concerts in
Germany,Czeh Republic,Hungary,Spain,Portugal,Belgium, Holland,Estonia,former
USSR,almost everywhere in South America,England (London). He is
considered by many as one of the most talented and versatile guitarist
around today. After having played for many years as a session-man,he has
also recorded his own solo projects (which he has done for a long time
also). He has made 8 albums ,of which two are'Sensazioni nel Tempo'
(2006) and 'Braidus in Funk' (2007) for Raitrade and Distribuzione Self
con Videoradio. He has also made two instructional DVD's for Playgame,distributed
